  • Copy the URL of the collector software that you want to download. You can choose between Windows or Linux versions.



Open a terminal window on your system and type either WGET or Curl followed by the URL that you copied. For example:

  • Wait for the download to complete. You should see a file named LiveOptics.zip in your current directory.



  • Extract the Live Optics software, user guide, and additional documents to a directory on your system where you wish to run it.

  • Open LiveOptics directory and double-click LiveOptics.exe.



  • Click "Get Started" after selecting your language. (Default is English)



  • Click the "Yes, I agree" button to accept the EULA.



  • Confirm your email address and click "Next".



  • Enter your Live Optics portal username and password and click "Login".



  • Wait for the Live Optics software to connect to the portal and download the latest updates.

  • You can also edit or delete any existing collectors by clicking on their names on the left side of the window.



How to View and Share the Live Optics Project Data




Once you have completed running one or more collectors for your project, you can view and share the data on the Live Optics portal. You can also download the data as a PDF or Excel file for offline analysis. Here are the steps to follow:


  • Login to your Live Optics portal account [12]( and click on "Projects" from the side menu.



  • Find the project that you want to view or share and click on its name.



  • You will see a dashboard that shows the summary and details of the data collected by your collectors. You can use the tabs and filters to navigate and explore the data.



  • You can also click on "View Report" to see a more detailed and interactive report of the data. You can use the buttons on the top right corner to download, print, or share the report.



  • If you want to share the data with someone else, you can click on "Share Project" and enter their email address. You can also add a message and set an expiration date for the share link.



The recipient will receive an email with a link to view the project data on the Live Optics portal. They will not need to
