Raising A More Emotionally Intelligent Generation

A National Collaboration To Promote Emotional Intelligence & Social & Emotional Learning As A Framework For Developing Productive and Socially Responsible Citizens

We are driven by our emotions and all behavior is mounted to meet an emotional need.  Emotional intelligence (EQ) is being smart with our emotions.  It is a set of essential skills that equip individuals to effectively navigate challenges, build meaningful relationships, and lead fulfilling lives. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process by which EQ skills are learnt. Research consistently shows that higher levels of EQ and SEL contribute to improved academic performance, enhanced mental well-being, and stronger community connections. To foster these skills across the nation, we are launching a comprehensive initiative aimed at embedding EQ and SEL into the lives of students, educators, parents, and the broader community.

We invite all religious organizations, community and youth groups, service clubs, sports clubs and helping organiztions to partner with us on this national initiative to build awareness, engender desire and provide the framework for enabling our youth in maximizing the opportunities provided by free education, living their best lives, and becoming productive citizens. Together, we can create a lasting legacy of empowered and emotionally intelligent citizens.
